Good Game has a little adventure over the pond in California recently. It was great to see the Slow and Real Food movements alive and well. There were more than 5 people in the San Francisco Bay area making Salami and Chorizo.

In down town SF there is a farmers market 3 times a week with the Saturday on getting more than 100 stalls. The people in SF love to buy local. I can feel we are heading in the right direction here too.

While in SF we managed to meet the Prather Meat Co who bread a Large Black pig (Devon/Cornish). There were a number of people using them to make sine salami’s.

This is the small hanging fridge from Boccalone who have a stall in the farmers market. Look forward to some new inspired ideas and recipes from the trip.
