Another good week for Good Game. We cracked the seal on a Lomo and were very pleased with the flavour for our first attempt. We’re still experimenting with the flavours and spices but we’re very confident it will be great.
We had some great news from Geoff at Pebblebed who is going to help us out with a hanging room up at the Vineyard. It wont be long before you can get a nice slice of Coppa or Venison Salami with your Pebblebed tasting.
This week we shall be making more Chocolate Habanaro Chrizo that has proved to be a real hit. Also our first Panchetta come out of the cure today so can’t wait to hang that bad boy up to air dry.
We only ran the markets this week and rolled out our new look stall. Although the weather was not on our side this Saturday. We still did well and managed to make a nice spicy venison meatball stew to warm up the Saturday Shoppers.
On Saturday night one of the Good Game family gave birth to 7 healthy lurcher puppies so it was a very late night for all, not in the pub for once! Let Pepperoni know if you are looking for a puppie as I don’t think he will keep all 7.
We will be getting ready for the Topsham Carnival on Saturday and still running in Exeter for Friday and Saturday as usual.
Have a good week friends of Good Game.
